As suggested by the name, our academy promotes the creation of dance. We focus on developing the dancers skills by teaching various dance styles, and encouraging them to showcase their talents through performing. Our main aim is not only to educate, but to bring health and happiness through movement and music. We hope this form of art contributes to the growth of the dancers personalities, confidence and social interactions.

In 2004, Sarjan Nartan Academy was established in the city of Ahmedabad in Gujarat, India. Since this date, the journey of creation has been blooming. In 2015, the academy also became registered in the UK and is based in North West London. Across the 2 countries, we currently have 500 students of differing ages and abilities training under the guidance of Neha Patel. Previously, Neha has also taught international students through online platforms and she still continues to do so…

Our Academy is known for its impeccable reputation and deliverance of excellent training. Our artistic team provides the students with holistic training in Indian dance styles. Tutors employed by the academy have trained under Neha and are carefully selected for their knowledge and precise articulation of the art-form. Sarjan Nartan Academy organises annual dance showcases, which provides an opportunity for students to perform and demonstrate their dance achievements. Students with advanced training have opportunities to perform at high profile events such as Diwali on Trafalgar square, major charity events and many more. Our Bharatnatyam students are continually assessed and sit recognised exams through the Oriental Dance Exam Board. As an academy, we are very proud to announce that for the last 6 years majority of our students have been passing their exams with the Distinction grade.
